
Biography
Stéphanie Evrard is a contemporary dancer and choreographer from Luxembourg, currently based in Vienna, Austria. Born on January 3, 2001, she is known for her dynamic approach to performance, blending technical precision with a deep exploration of movement and expression. She trained in ballet and contemporary dance at the Conservatory of Luxembourg before earning a degree in Contemporary Dance at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna, where she studied with Esther Balfe, Virginie Roy, and Christina Medina. As part of an Erasmus+ semester at The Danish National School of Performing Arts, she worked with artists such as Malin Astner and Quim Bigas.
Her artistic journey has led her to diverse projects and workshops across Europe. In February 2025, she premiered Soso, a piece by Samuel Feldhandler, at Tanzquartier Wien, with a tour to Stockholm planned for April. Other highlights include her piece Drawing nËš1: Fun Little Details, presented at Schwere Reiter in Munich, which showcased her innovative use of scores, and her exhibition ZWISCHEN FIKTION & REALITÄT, exploring the intersection of fiction and reality in performance.
She has previously collaborated with Der Betrieb under the artistic direction of Anna Maria Nowak and will continue working with them on upcoming projects. Whether through her own choreographic work or as a performer in experimental productions, Stéphanie remains dedicated to pushing the boundaries of contemporary dance and exploring movement as a way to transform perception and create new shared experiences.
