Biography

Stéphanie Evrard is a Vienna-based contemporary dancer and choreographer. She studied Contemporary Dance at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (MUK) and at the Danish National School of Performing Arts in Copenhagen. Her work moves between choreographic research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and experimental scores.

As a performer, she has collaborated with choreographers such as Samuel Feldhandler, Elio Gervasi, Esther Balfe, Annelie Andre, and Sylvia Camarda, and performed at venues including Tanzquartier Wien, Das MuTh, Kunstforum Wien, Remise Bludenz, and the Philharmonie Luxembourg. Her choreographic works have been presented, among others, at Schwere Reiter (Munich) and Brunnenpassage (Vienna). She regularly performs with Der Betrieb under the artistic direction of Anna Maria Nowak and Alexander Gottfarb.

She is currently pursuing the Master’s program Contemporary Arts Practice – Transmedial Performance at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw).

Her work focuses on choreographic research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and experimental score-based practices.
